ABOUT THE CONTEST
YOUR MUSICAL JOURNEY STARTS HERE
MUSIC IN THE AIR is a professional international vocal competition for children and youth, where young singers can not only showcase their talents but also become acquainted with different world cultures and musical genres. The competition was first organized in November 2022 at the Birštonas Cultural Center.
This competition stands out for its high level of professionalism. The organizers of the competition are long-time participants and observers of international music competitions and festivals, having gained deep insights into the most important aspects of vocal contests over many years. This is why MUSIC IN THE AIR offers not only quantity but also quality – professional sound, lighting, stage design, and a competent jury.
The concept of the competition is to provide young singers with an opportunity to express their creativity and showcase their talent to professionals from the music industry – from composers, musicians, and arrangers to well-known singers.
We hope that this competition will mark the beginning of your professional musical journey!
